Studio Fine Art Program (Grades 5th and up)
This program offers two levels tailored to different learning goals:
• Foundational Group
Grades 5 & up ︱ 1.5 hr per class ︱ 1 class per week
Focuses on building strong drawing and painting fundamentals, while nurturing creative confidence. Suitable for students of all ages with interest in visual art. This group is for the students who are passionate about art and ready to build a strong foundation in both technique and creative expression.
What Students Will Learn
Drawing & Painting Foundations
Line, tone, form, perspective, and composition
Value studies, color theory, and light/shadow practice
Observational Skills
Still life, figure, landscape, architecture
Realism with a focus on depth, proportion, and structure
Creative Thinking & Personal Style
Projects that explore concept development
Exercises to encourage unique visual expression
• Advanced Group
Grades 7 & up (by experience or evaluation) ︱ 3 hr per class ︱ 1 class per week
This advanced-level class is designed to deepen students’ technical and creative skills through focused fine art training. Projects include figure drawing, still life, portraiture, landscape painting, and abstract expressionism. Students receive individual critiques and work on customized projects to develop a cohesive and personal art practice.
Classes are held weekly in a small-group format to ensure quality instruction. Advanced students are supported in preparing for competitions and portfolio submissions.
New students must submit artwork for evaluation before enrolling.
